Study approach
1. Understand first, memorise second
The N+ tests understanding, not just recall. If you understand why a /26 gives 62 hosts, you don't need to memorise the table. Build mental models through the labs before moving to flashcards.
2. Hands-on practice for every domain
Performance-based questions (PBQs) catch candidates who only studied theory. For each domain above, open the linked labs and interact with the concepts before moving on.
3. Use process of elimination on PBQs
PBQs count heavily but can be time-consuming. Flag them, skip to multiple choice first, then return. You can often eliminate two wrong answers quickly, turning a 25% guess into 50%.
